SmallPaws Pet Hotel is idyllically situated on 5 acres on the Northern Beaches of Sydney. Choose from five levels of indoor heated/air-conditioned accommodation, with the most premium being the Presidential Suite that features a spacious room with valley views, toys, sunning lounging spots and a complete privacy if need be.
Alternatively, the more budget-friendly option, the Apartments, is always an option as well for our more budget-conscious guests. No matter the level of accommodation that you choose for your cat, SmallPaws Pet Hotel will become their home-away-from home.
The safety of our cats is paramount
We want to ensure that all of our guests can interact in a safe & monitored environment if their temperament allows. We only mix cat guests during the day if they are sociable with other guests. If not, we allow solo time for our non-social cat guests to enjoy enrichment time in our sunny, fully-enclosed play areas

Each guest has the opportunity to spend time in the outside-fully enclosed play areas, with lots of exercise, stimulation & interaction with other guests during the day (that have been assessed to have a similar temperament). Or they can have solo time in the play areas if preferred.
Guests can choose if they want to spend the day lounging in the sun, playing with other guests, resting inside, or enjoying multiple cuddles & lots of attention from our beautiful staff members

FAQ's about our cat boarding options
Does my cat share their room with another cat?
Only cats from the same family share enclosures. In the ‘sociable’ exercise area, some cats do share the space, however we are very careful to evaluate which cats are happy to share with other cats. Cats that don’t like sharing the exercise area have time on their own in our ‘non sociable’ area.
Does my cat get outside each day?
As we believe in the importance of exercise for your cat’s health and well-being, our ‘sociable’ guests have complimentary access to the exercise area for between 2 hours and 8 hours, depending on the personalities of the cats. The cats who want to exercise and explore, but don’t like other cats, take turns in our ‘ non-sociable’ exercise area. Every enclosure has an indoor and outdoor section connected with a cat flap, so even the shyest of cats can securely come into the outdoor section at nighttime when there is no-one is around!
Will my cat get too hot/cold?
Our accommodation is heated and air conditioned. We also have heated sleeping pads available.
Do you charge extra for old cats?
Of course not, we love our older guests; many of them have been coming here since they were kittens. Our heated /airconditioned accommodation ensures that they are always at a comfortable temperature. Medication, eye, and ear cleaning are all part of our standard care.
What if there is a storm?
Many pets are afraid during thunderstorms. As both the manager’s and owner’s families live on-site, there is always someone around to help comfort our guests.
What happens if my cat gets sick?
After 30 years of experience we can quickly tell if your cat is off colour. Our local vet is only a few minutes away and is ‘on-call’. We will advise you or your emergency contact person. If you prefer we can take your cat to your own vet an additional cost.
Cat Medications … Is there a charge?
We do administer medications and there is no additional charge, as we already spend one on one time with each pet daily. Please ensure each medication is clearly marked with your pet’s name and dosage level.
What food do you provide for my cat?
Cats in all levels of accommodation have a choice of Whiskers, Fancy Feast, Majesty, VIP Cat fresh meat, Tuna and Supercoat biscuits.

Peak Season is the period covered by all NSW School Holidays (inc. of Private School holidays) and long weekends.
The Apartment - from $42 a day
A double sided enclosure with one half on the inside of the cattery and the other half overlooking the exercise area and garden. The 2 sides are connected with a cat flap. The side walls to the enclosure are solid, and each ‘room’ on the inside has a hiding box with fleecy blanket, a soft bed and soft toggle mat.
In the outdoor section they have another comfy bed and scratching post. The inside of the cattery is fully heated and air-conditioned. Each of our guests have two hours a day access to a covered exercise area full of toys, scratching trees, chairs and logs to scratch on.
Peak Pricing: $46 p/day
The two storey Apartments - from $54 a day
The Two Storey Apartment is a top level and floor level Apartment joined together with stairs in the outdoor section which provides multiple levels for your fur babies to enjoy. This is great for families with multiple pets. Each of our guests have two hours a day access to a covered exercise area full of toys, scratching trees, chairs and logs to scratch on.

The executive suite - from $52 a day
Located in our Suites cattery building, The Executive Suite is an indoor room with a window, large scratching tree, soft bed and is fully air conditioned and heated. Each of our guests have two hours a day access to the Suites private balcony full of toys, scratching logs and a chair overlooking the garden. For our more adventurous guests they can also have access to our social Apartment exercise area.
Peak Pricing: $63 p/day
The penthouse suites - from $59 a day
Located in our Suites cattery building, The Penthouse Suites are large rooms each with their own window. The Suite contains soft bedding, toys, large scratching trees, climbing shelves and is fully air conditioned and heated. Each of our guests have two hours a day access to the Suites private balcony full of toys, scratching logs and a chair overlooking the garden. For our more adventurous guests they can also have access to our social Apartment exercise area.

The presidential suite - from $64 a day
Located in our Suites cattery building, The Presidential Suite is a spacious room with a large window for our guests to sit on and enjoy the tranquillity of the breath taking views of our bushland and green paddocks. The room contains luxurious plush bedding, toys, large scratching tree, climbing shelves and is fully air conditioned and heated. Each of our guests have two hours a day access to the Suites private balcony full of toys, scratching logs and a chair overlooking the garden. For our more adventurous guests they can also have access to our social Apartment exercise area.
